Why Should You Use Organic Skin Care and Beauty Products?
The health benefits to you and your body are enormous! With it being a certified organic product, then you know that the ingredients are all natural. Not like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (also known as Sodium Laureth Sulfate) which is commonly known to enter the heart and brain through the skin. This ingredient is found in soaps and shampoos. Organic gives you the specific benefits that you are looking for without ingredients like Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
We live in chemical world, and that includes our skin care and beauty products. These products also give you the effect that you are looking for. I know we don’t all read the back of the items we purchase for the simple reason that the print is too small. It would literally take a magnifying glass to read it read what’s on the back of your foundation.
Ok, even with the magnify glass it can be hard to read. Do you understand what the words on the back mean? I used a magnifying glass when I had foundation and I had no idea of what the words meant.
The unnatural ingredients that I am about to talk about have been known to add things to your body that do not belong there. The public is largely unaware of how the ingredients of the products they use might affect them.
Here are some other examples of synthetic chemicals that can be found in our skin care and beauty items. Toluene has been known to affect the nervous system and many times it’s found in nail polish and hair dye. I’m sorry to say that the wonderful word “Fragrance,” that we all love so much is not a natural scent from nature. That scent is synthetic and it hides other synthetic products in it. Getting a list of what is in the fragrances of the things we love is difficult for this simple reason: the FDA does not list them because these fragrances are a considered a special proprietary formula of the companies that make them.
It is kind of creepy to think that Formaldehyde can found in toothpaste and hand cream.
There are thousands of people who use those products. It also goes under about 11 names. Here are some of them: Formalin, Urea, Methanol, Oxymethyline, 1,3 Dioxetane, and Quantemium 15. Formaldehyde has been known to cause cancer. Another one is called Parabens, which has been a buzz word of late. It also has several other versions that by these names: methylparben, propylparben, ethylparben, and butylparaben and is connected to breast cancer. Phthates has been known to affect the thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands. When something affects one or more of these glands a myriad of things can happen.
